Should I go with App Store Optimization or only paid ads?

In order for the search algorithm to give you visibility and work for your app’s success in the stores, you need App Store Optimization. ASO is also crucial to getting the Conversion rate that will make your UA thrive and bring the return you are looking for. So I don’t need UA?

Great question again! If you are looking to grow your app exponentially you also need the paid channels stacked up on top of the ASO. ASO + Paid channels are where the magic happens.

The algorithm for the top-ranked apps per category is based on the cheer number of installs an app gets per day. So both paid and organic are important.

How fast will the performance of the app start growing?

To be honest this is going to depend on your app. If the app power is zero it takes a couple of weeks for the algorithms to index. Otherwise, the impact is mostly instant, the visibility starts growing as soon as we make the first ASO metadata update, and then it keeps growing as we make more ASO updates.
