Challenge

Carb Manager, one of the leading apps for tracking macros and a healthy diet, reached out to Teletab with the following goals:

  • grow organically;
  • improve their conversion rate optimization.

Apple Search Ads

Our primary objective revolved around significantly increasing Carb Manager’s conversion rate so they could automatically benefit from the traffic they were already receiving, leading to an increase in installs and subscriptions.  

Implementing ASA on relevant high volume generic keywords and competitor keywords was also part of the strategic plan. Teletab outlined a plan to use paid strategies to track conversions to subscriptions and inform the app store optimization strategy.

App Store Optimization

We also outlined a strategy to work on the primary markets, where the revenue was higher and more promising. We created an ASO roadmap so we could deploy keyword opportunities every 15 days in order to increase the ranking of the most valuable keywords.

Screenshots

After conducting a thorough visual and competitor analysis, Teletab formulated recommendations to enhance Carb Manager’s screenshots.

After the designs for the new screenshots were completed, we conducted A/B tests to determine the most effective screenshots for implementation.

Results

The strategic overhaul of Carb Manager’s screenshots yielded remarkable results. With the redesigned screenshots, there was a substantial 17% surge in conversion rates. Our efforts also led to a remarkable 30% spike in installs.
